Dear Christine and all of Armando's family. Armando has been our wonderful friend for the last 30 years. Since meeting him at San Francisco State in 1995, we have had the pleasure of his warm and generous spirit, his friendship and gift of love. He loved his music and shared it with us all. While in graduate school he was a great support and friend. We shared many good times together in San Francisco, Oakland and San Mateo. Armando was a dear and loving friend. He had many physical challenges in his life, but he never complained and always flashed his welcoming smile and wore his stylish hats. He silently sufferrd with grace, shared his humor and kindness and especially his humility with all of us.
