My Dad was full of fun and a boundless love for life. He was the most generous man I know and volunteered to serve his community and his country throughout his life. He was proud of his work as a crisis counselor with the LAPD although it required many nights away from home (he did this when he was in his 60s and 70s). He was very proud of the VFW and made sure that the San Pedro post participated in every Memorial Day and Veterans' Day ceremony. My Dad could make a friend out of a...
