Armandito as the family called him was always very kind to me. I met him in 1981 when I began dating my husband. His wife Teresa is my husband´s cousin. Teresa will always have a special place in my heart. I find comfort in knowing they are reunited. He was a good man and his legacy lives on with his beautiful children and grandchildren. May he rest in eternal peace.

I worked at The Miami Herald / Knight Ridder for 27.5 yrs. (1976-2003) where often I worked closely with Manny. A true gentleman and professional. Stern, yet kind. As he walked the hallways of 1 Herald Plaza he would smile and say hello to all. Peace and comfort be with his family. RIP amigo! from earth to heaven, un fuerte abrazo.
