We also served with Mike in Germany. Jane flew with him as a flight nurse and John flew with him as a pilot. We had wonderful times together on our flights. We enjoyed many celebration parties with Mike and Anna Merle. He was a good friend and we have kept in touch throughout the years. We have fond memories.

We served with Mike in Germany in the 55th Aeromedical Airlift Squadron where he flew patients around Europe, Turkey, and Greece. We attended many social events with Mike and Anna Merle during those years. Babs flew with him on missions many times as a flight nurse.
We have many fond memories of Mike and he will be greatly missed by us and all of the old Air Evac group.
