“Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It’s the transition that’s troublesome.” Isaac Asimov

To Army's family & friends,
I will remember Army as being a great friend to Bo & myself. He spent hours until the very end with Bo and it was so appreciated.
It was one year & a day from Bo passing that Army had to go play trains & tell stories with him. Those two had so much in common. I would have to check out which guy I was yelling "Hi honey" at. They looked so much alike when up in the telephone poles.
Remember the love, the shared secrets and special times. Do not...

Army was one of my favorite people to work with at Bell. No matter how agitated and "flustrated" (a Red Blaydon term) he got about different things - his tirades would always end with a smile and the words, "You have to pay your dues, boy!" He always used to call me a DINK - referring to my wife and I having Double Incomes and No Kids. (Boy has that changed). He was just a kind, decent, hard-working guy with a great sense of humor. (And, John Tingley, I also remember listening to Paul Harvey...

Mary Ann, I am so sorry to hear of Army's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Army and I went to St John's School together and remained friends through high school and beyond. We always had great laughs and enjoyed growing up in Enhaut. Those were the days my friends...Army and his hot cars and easy manner...his cousin Larry and Larry Cole...our trips to the shore and of course Rainbow Hills...he was a friend and will be missed. My prayers go out to his family.

I can't believe army has passed away.
I worked with him in the underground at bell atlantic. didn't always agree with his viewpoints but still respected his.
my heart goes out to you- his family.
I'll always remember his help whenever it was needed. while working.everything stopped to listen to Paul Harvey's program on the radio(and that's the end of the story)

With great sorrow

John (JT) Tingley
