Mr. Salters' legacy as an educational leader is unparalleled! I was a member at Central, and taught at the middle school that his students fed into; Mr. Salters was so supportive of the children and families in the community, and he was so supportive of my growth and development as a new teacher. He set a high bar for school leaders, and when I became one, I applied much of what I observed in Mr. Salters' leadership. May these and other memories uplift Mr. Salters' family.

Mr. Salter's was an amazing person. He will never be forgotten. Prayers to the family.

I had the honor and pleasure of working with Mr. Salters for more than 20 years. I always admired his manner of treating the students at Gideon Elementary School, always expecting their best and encouraging each to become the best possible. I am certain his loving guidance prepared many for success in the adult world. Restin peace, my fellow educator, your earthly challenges were managed with grace. I shall keep memories of you in my heart.

That was scary because I thought I had been caught cutting class again...Started hearing Champion, Parrott, and Anderson from down the hall as we tried leaving out door.
