Not sure what to say?

Arne was my first mentor and "boss" at the Department of Health from 1979 until she retired. What a great woman! She guided and inspired my work in Public Health to this day. I will always appreciate her quiet manner in keeping me focused with all my energy in those early days to get things done. Thank you Arne for everything .

I was one of the throng of noisy neighborhood children that regularly cascaded through the Beltz home in Anchorage in the 1960s. Arne's patience for the chaos and her sense of delight and humor at our antics left a permanent impression on my child's mind. In the years that followed, her clear-minded convictions and intellectual curiosity became an inspiration for me. I have deep affection and respect for her to this day. For her love - and my lifelong friendship with her son - I will always...

Arne Beltz was a highly unusual soul that has passed this earth leaving a beautiful legacy. Arne did the best for all she met and knew. she was truly humble. The world is diminished due to her passing. Arne was a brilliant and special person I will always think of her.

Kathleen "Kiki" Carey

Arne was one of the best nurses with whom I had the pleasure of working. She had such a positive affect on public health in Alaska and will be remembered for a long time.

Arne Beltz is one who had Eskimo ingenuity and could adapt to whatever situation arose. I am an example of it having been born prematurely in Bush Alaska in 1958. She made
an incubator using a milk box lined with cotton and placed it on the oven door. I only hope it was a Darigold milk box.
Thank you for your public service to Rural Alaska.
Our condolences to the family.
Quyaana!

Mrs. Beltz hired me for a position at the Anchorage health dept. in 1975. She was a stellar boss and friend of MANY! May she be Blessed in Heaven.

I am so sorry for your loss. May God give you stength and comfort during this sad time of your life. (Psalm 46:1)

I will miss miss you dearly Arne. You were the greatest Grandmother my daughter Stephanie could have ever wished for. Thank you for being you and blessing us all with your grace and kindness.

Arne was so kind. She will be missed.
