Survived by wife of 72 years, Tena; sons, Norman (Evangeline) and Gerald (Joyce); grandchildren, Gregory (Patty), Rachel (Perry) Pickerign, Kristena (Eric) Lane and Mark (Janet); 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Sverre. Memorials are preferred to First Lutheran Church or donor's choice. Funeral service will be on Monday, Sept. 10, 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at First Lutheran Church, 1555 40th Ave NE, Columbia Heights.
