Not sure what to say?

I never met this fabulous artist but own one painting and his book. Both of which I love.

Arne was a neighbor of mine in the first office space I ever rented for my creative agency. He shared a love for advertising and one day told me that to be successful in advertising, you must know how to sell. He challenged me and a business partner to "sell him toilet paper". I´ll never forget that conversation in his studio, surrounded by his lovely art. I hope one day to own one of his pieces. For now, he´ll always have a place in my heart. All the love to his family and friends. Arne was...

What a lovely man. I loved visiting with him on the #35 bus....he loved life!

A wonderful gifted soul, I had the pleasure of working with him as a model for one of his classes. I will never forget the experience Im met him at a garage sale I was working for a friend. He will be missed as well as his talent in his eye to capture beauty and paper

The first time I saw his paintings and watched Arne paint I was amazed. I told him he had a great gift, and I meant it. Later I took a week long class in Portland and enjoyed getting to know him. He helped me paint better, and he helped me understand more deeply the meaning of my paintings. I live in Italy now and am out of touch with America. I just now saw he had passed on. I am glad I met Arne, he was a great inspiration.

After spending a week with Arne in a workshop, I was amazed and empowered. His wonderful style kept me talking about him for years. He will always be alive and inspiring to me. I am so sad to hear of his passing.

I met Arne 5 yrs. ago, while attending his workshop in Fargo, N.D. We spent a lot of time chatting over meals and during class. Arne became a mentor and friend over the years. Aside from his wonderful talent, he had a quick wit, sometimes naughty sense of humor and incredible stories. He was so generous and encouraging. I am deeply saddened to learn of Arne's passing. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed by many! RIP my dear friend.

Use to deliver to Mr. Westerman and he always had a kind word or great welcome. Sorry to hear this, great guy
