Not sure what to say?

To this, the last time I saw this very "Distinguished" gentleman was Friday Auugust 26, 2005. I got 2 Gumbo and stuffed crab plates with delicious potato salad from his restaurant on Orleans Ave. This was a most memorable experience for me. Hurricane "Katrina" come the following Monday and changed trajectory of Life in NOLA forever. May his soul continue to rest in "Eternal" peace.

My deepest condolences to Mrs Taylor and family. Chief Taylor was a great father figure when I joined the PD. He was a gentle man with a kind heart. Rest In Peace my friend.

Second Timothy, 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Thank you for your leadership and kindness to all. It was a pleasure working for you. May you rest in peace in the arms of the Lord.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Thank you Captain for a job well done for the citizens of New Orleans. Rest in peaceful paradise, Sir.

My deepest sympathy to the family for your loss. May you find peace and comfort in the Lord during this time of sorrow. Dennis Ester

Chief Taylor always greeted everyone with kind words while protecting New Orleans. I can remember when Walter feared dating Kathy, then Chief Taylor made him feel like family. A true professional.

Bro. Greg, May the grace and peace of God put a bear hug around you and your family during this season celebrating the beautiful life of your father! I did not know your father but to know you and the beautiful spirit you have he was a man of integrity and grace! Willie J. Williams, Jr. BibleWay Missionary Baptist Church

My deepest condolences to Chief Taylor's family. I had the honor to work for him. He was always a fair man and I always thought him to be a very kind man...He will be missed...
