Not sure what to say?

Mr Barnett was my golf coach and guidance counselor at Roy Hart (Class of `89) and made a profound impact on me. He was a very kind person of high character and was very generous. He not only encouraged me to join the golf team, but gave me the equipment to make it a reality. I will be forever grateful and think of him often. Todd Fragale (`89)

Joyce: I'll miss Arnie each time we get together-so,so many good times, good laughs. You are a strong person and will get through the tough times- I am here for you always. Love Pat Orlando and Ron Orlando

Dear Joyce,

You and Arnie have given Maria, Frankie, Gianna and Francesca so much hope and support through this last year. Maria has told me on so many occasions how you have taken her and the kids into your hearts and home and become her family once again. She has told me so many stories of Arnie and Frankie together playing baseball and how the girls were always competing for Arnie's attention. I still remember being in high school and seeking out Arnie for those life kind of...

Dear Joyce & family,
My deepest sympathy to you & your family. There is no doubt Arnie was loved by many. I am so grateful for being part of his life as a Teaching Asst. with his Club for Life kids. There is always one moment in childhood when the door opens and lets the future in. Arnie was the one opening that door. You were the best Arnie. Your memory will carry on with our Club for Life kids. God Bless.

Dear Joyce and family,

I said very little before. Then I realized just how many lives Arnie has touched and influenced. Besides mine that is. I'm not sure he ever knew just how many times he saved my life under the circumstances etc., that you are aware of. Joyce, I sure would like to get to know you a little better someday. If that is ok with you? I am so sorry for everyone's pain. My thoughts are truly with you. I will never forget Arnie, or how my life finally became something...

Joyce,

We would both like to let you know how sorry we are for your loss. Arnie had tons of friends who cared very much for him.

We certainly enjoyed watching him in the yard in the summer...the sound of the weed wacker meant Arnie was out! The landscaping was always meticulous! In fact, Arnie was the inspiration for us to do the garden in the front corner of our property by the creek. We will always remember him driving by on his way home from work with a wave and a...

To Arnie’s Family~

While we see the impact that Arnie has had in the lives of children, please know that the same goes for adults. Given his dynamic personality, Arnie had the uncanny ability to connect with everyone he came into contact with. This is clearly evident by the number of friends he had. He was always smiling, walked with his signature swagger, and spoke using his unique accent. Arnie was a gentleman of character, a champion of children’s causes, and everyone’s greatest...

To the family of Mr. Barnett....

I've read these beautiful messages everyone has left. They say it all. What a testimony to such a great man. He was one of my guidance counselors at Roy-Hart, class of 1987. His door was always open, he was always willing to listen, he laughed, he joked, his smile... contagious.... but most of all, he treated us with respect. He made us feel and believe what we had to say was important and it was worth listening to. He had a special gift and he was a...

Joyce,
I am sitting here reading all the wonderful entries crying all the way as I can so easily relate to all of the people who thought so highly of Arnie. As a fellow special educator and soon to be school counselor I felt a special connection with Arnie. I am very grateful to have seen you and Arnie last summer at the hospital while Aunt Bonnie was having surgery. I couldn’t wait to share my educational goals with him during our brief visit. Growing up with him in the family I don’t...
