Arnold was a 'backbone' of the Anchorage Tlingit and Haida Community Council (T&H). He was faithful in attending monthly meetings and participated in the special events and always contributed so much to the social life of the Tribe. I enjoyed knowing him and in reading his obit, I am shocked to learn that we have the same birthday! May his Memory be Eternal. Mary L. Lekanof
Former officer with Anchorage T&H for many years.

it was a pleasure to meet Arnold's daughter, son and sister and to take part in the celebration for him .He will surely be missed by the many lives he touched. have a safe journey as you take Arnold home. This is certainly a great loss for the Anchorage Tlingit and Haidia Community. Sharing the day with you his family it was good to be able to get the chance to say"thank you for sharing Arnold" as it was put by one of our cousins. Pam See/Mabel W. Pike Anchorage,Ak.

I met and worked with Arnold about 1975 at Franklin Bluff just south of Prudhoe Bay, on the Trans Alaska Pipeline. Since then I stayed in contact for a while and gave him a ride to ANMC about 1980. Later he said that was the day he sobered up? Later when I had to sober-up or die trying (late 1991), there he was! I think he was working for the providence hospital and he looked reasonbly broke, happy and healthy. Thats all I wanted out of life and he was a shining example of that.
