Read MoreI worked at USAID and used to take occasional lunchtime exercise walks around the National Mall with Arnie. I retired in 2007 but I saw him again a few years ago when we happened to be on the same cruise ship. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. I could always count on him for good advice regarding work and good conversation on our walks. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
