Not sure what to say?

My pal, my faithful friend, since rooming together the first two years at WMU. He never let me down, asked me to be his best man, and hardly ever lost to me in gin rummy. I'll miss our quarterly lunch meetups in Lansing. He was the real deal in every way it means to be a man. My deepest condolences are extended to Freida and the entire family.

Jeff was one of the kindest most caring people I have ever had the privilege to get to know. Jeff & his wonderful wife Freda made a real difference in many, many peoples lives. I am so sorry for his Families loss. I worked with Jeff at Jaqua, what a guy.

I was a classmate of Jeff at Olivet High High School, went to the same Methodist Church in Brookfield and attended the church youth group with Jeff. Since , Did not see Jeff often but every five years we served on the class reunion planning committee. Enjoyed catching up on Jeff and his family. Jeff was one of the best, he will be missed. My condolences too Frieda and her family and hope your memories comfort you in your loss. Ron Place

Mr. Newman was such a wonderful teacher. I also had the pleasure of working with him at the Teacher's Center. He left behind a great legacy and will be missed. Our prayers of comfort continue for his family.

I enjoyed knowing Jeff and his family. He was an excellent teacher and that is how we met when we both taught in Comstock.I always enjoyed Jeff's skills in gardening and in decorating and will remember how he and his family were so welcoming in their home.Peace and comfort to the family as you cherish the memories.
