Not sure what to say?

I am shocked and saddened to learn of Arnie's passing. I had no idea until now. Something I read on Lydia's FB page but can't find again, made me search and that is how I found out. I am so sorry to hear about this terrible event.

Today is Feb. 28th, 2013 and me and my daughter, Christy have just found out about the passing of our sweet Arnie. We are shocked and saddened to hear about the loss of Arnie. He lived in Henderson, Neveda when I meet Arnie and my daughter lived there also. We would have Arnie over for dinner and we always enjoyed him so much. He kept in touch with my daughter and her family. When my husband passed away, Arnie sent me a sweet card. We are just devastated and your family is in our thoughts...

I loved Arnie. I met him in Vegas. So sorry.

I met Arnie 2 years ago as we worked on a Booz Allen project together. Very bright guy. After that project I worked with him often to nagivate the new company that Booz Allen had become... I only had the opportunity to know him professionally, and never knew of his hidden talents. He will be missed. Arnie was a really good guy.

From the Capitol Hill Toastmasters Club in Washington DC,

Arnold was a loyal and beloved member of our organization. As a group dedicated to developing better public speakers and leaders, Arnold exemplified everything Toastmasters International stands for.
After he joined the club in the fall of 2010, we had the pleasure of seeing Arnold's incredible work ethic and intellect in person. Arnold delivered a number of diverse speeches to the club including: technical speeches,...

I first met Arnie almost 24 years ago, the first day that I arrived at Northwestern University as an undergraduate. He just happened to sit at the same table as me in the lunchroom where our dorms had assigned us, and he was my first (and, for a time) only friend there. We had some wild times in our four years at the university, although we drifted apart a bit in the later years as our careers took different directions.

Nevertheless, we reconnected after graduation a few times,...

A fun day spent with Arnie in September at Kings Dominion amusement park

I was very sad to learn of Arnie's passing today. I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend his funeral, but hope that I will be able to join some of his other friends here in DC for a gathering in his memory. Thank you for providing the scholarship fund as a way to remember him and help those who would follow in his footsteps to continue his academic legacy.

It was very sad to me. Arnold Stux was remembered as a kind man, an intelligent scientist and a humorous friend. He was very popular in a toastmaster club where I met him. He had hoped to fly higher as a pilot. Unfortunately, the fatal accident grounded him forever. He will be missed. My sincere condolence goes to his family.

Dear Stux Family:

I met Arnie via my cousin José Enrique Martín Gonzalez (chemical engineer) who met Arnie in Henderson,Nevada. Ted Thurston was also part of that group. We all would take many fun trips together and share our lives with each other on a regular basis. We traveled together to Mexico City, Guadalajara, Guanajuato, Las Vegas, Napa, and San Francisco. While in Mexico we were in a dance contest and placed third place! Beating out 17 other couples. It was so much...
