Arnold C. Vander Hart

I was a good friend of Ken Vanter Hart, for many years. I am now 75, and terminally ill. That makes you think of the things that are actually important, and that nothing else matters. I just want to say that among my favorite family and friends, I am looking forward to picking up so many unfinished conversations with Ken, Pearl, and Arn. I was a 30 year friend of their son, Ken Vander Hart. I had many occasions to learn things about cars and how to fix things, just talking to Arnie, on visits to their home over many years. I remember fondly going with Ken and his mother to go get a specially selected Christmas tree. My love and respects to Pearl Vander Hart, who has a warm and interesting heart and mind. Rodger A. Arnie was a wonderful example of a Christian man. I knew him from his work as a volunteer at Pine Rest Hospital's resale shop, which benefits patients.

My sympathy to you Pearl and the family's of Ellen , David , and Steve. It was an honor and a privilege to have known Arnie - a man of great faith and Christian lifestyle. Although Ann and I are in Arizona now I will always cherish the last house visitation Carl and I had with Pearl and Arnie last month. We pray for the Lord's comfort and blessing.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. At times like this remember again that our ONLY comfort in life and in death, is to belong to our faithful Savior, Jesus Christ.
