Not sure what to say?

Thanks again for all the kind words posted here by friends, colleagues and family - we miss Arnie (Dad) deeply but, so proud to know what a positive impression he made on so many.

Thank you friends, for all your kind words and memories of our father. You all meant so much to him and we heard your stories and names mentioned often. He loved his friends and co-workers, and felt incredibly honored to have been able to serve and befriend students and teachers in Everett.

I first met Arnie in the fall of 1949 when he was a dashing young teacher at South Junior High School and I was a seventh grade student. He was not my teacher but I was envious of those who had him. He was energetic and enthusiastic with a special interest in music and drama. Little could I have realized then that a couple of decades later we would become colleagues as Everett elementary school principals. Arnie was as child oriented as any educator I ever worked with. He was especially...

I will always remember both Arnie and Irene as the folks who sold their 3320 Oakes house to our family in 1959, and Irene as a friendly person always greeting me during my two years at EJC, 1965-1967. A wonderful family and a lovely couple.

Your Arnie and Irene were wonderful folks. I have fond memories of them from sleepovers at your family house on the weekend before we went to the ski bus together with Greg Sanman. Paul, Dave, condolences and best wishes to all of you and your family.
Sincerely,
Jim Shields

Iam sorry to hear the passing of Mr. Wiggum I was at Hawthorne in the early 60's I lived in the old projects and remember him always as just the nicest man I remember him sometimes watching us play soccer at breaktime always with a smile on his face, my sincerest condolences to the Wiggum family

Mr. Wiggum was my principal at Hawthorne Elementry in Everett, WA. He was always so nice to the kids there, and I remember him very fondly. I have lived in Wenatchee for the past 10 years, and wished that I would've known he lived here too. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family Sincerely, Carol Gjemso Owens

My condolences to the Wiggum family and friends and all who loved him. Mr. Wiggum was my Principal 1963-1964 and again in 1968-1969. I was one of those Low-Income Families that he helped. In 1964 he personally took me to a shoe store and bought me a pair of boots. Again that year the Boys Club was hosting a Circus and he came to my house looking for me to take me to that Circus, but I wasn't home at the time. My loss. I'm 60 years old now and that Memory has stayed with me for 42 years, What...
