Arnold and I were born on the same day (Feb 26th, 1942) I would call him almost every year on that date.
We were neighbors in Newton Center and we knew each other virtually all out lives.
What an awful way to see a dear friends passing. My love to his family.

I am shocked and extremely sad about dear Arnie's passing. I immediately think about his kind and radiant smile that filled up the room as well as one's heart. He was one of the first people I met when I became a part of the community in Newton, and he made me feel respected and welcomed. I'll never forget his dedication to his family, his generosity and his love of Judaism.
Dear Dale, Eric and Jonathan, my heart is with you. With love, Cantor Rivka.

It is so difficult to know that Arnold will not be together with Dale, Elaine and I each time that we are in Newton as we visit family and Arnold and Dale are part of that Family.
Ware do I find a friend as Arnold. Fortunately, Arnold will never leave my mind. He is not only a friend, but like one of my brothers.
Every time we are in Temple I see my brothers and now I am fortunate, I will see Arnold.
Elaine and I are with you Dale, with loving memories not to be forgotten.
With love, Oscar and Elaine

I am heartbroken to hear this news. Arnie was an amazingly kind and vibrant man, whose leadership of the Synagogue Council board was meaningful and impactful. We are sorry to be out of town at this sad time. Sending love and our deepest to condolences to Dale and the family.
May his memory always be a blessing.

I remember Arnold teaching me how to draft legal documents 35 years ago, and we were thrilled to reconnect with Arnie and Dale years later at Temple Emanuel. We will miss him at Kiddish. Love, Jack & Diana Gould.
