Aron Bracamonte

Las Cruces - Our love, Aron Bracamonte, age 45, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday morning, December 10, 2020. He was born into a loving family on August 9, 1975 in Hayward, California and spent his childhood in California, Arizona and New Mexico.

As a young man, Aron was popular and social, as he was involved in many activities-sports, church choir, and mentoring/supporting disadvantaged youth. In 1998, he married the one that won his heart, Shannon. His devotion to her crossed over into two decades, as he was committed to a long life of friendship, growth and love. Aron dearly loved his two sons, Ezra Jordan and Alakai Jaron Bracamonte. He had immense pride being a father and was dedicated to build his life to honor and be present for his boys throughout their childhood and adulthood. There was never a dull moment with him, traveling, exploring and daring his children to always try new things.

In his lifetime, Aron became a man with an amazing story to share. He was determined to break cycles and barriers in his family's life. Aron always carried such a positive outlook and devoted himself to be the agent of change for others. He lived his life as a humble man, son, brother, husband, father, educator, coach and friend.

Aron attended school at Indio Apostolic Academy in California, as well as, completing his Masters of Education at New Mexico State University. Aron was an awesome educator in all aspects of his life. He spent his spare time as a champion for the youth in his community. Aron worked in a variety of environments; coaching youth soccer, football, basketball, baseball, softball; and especially enjoyed what he referred to as his dream job being a special education educator specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorders at Hermosa Heights Elementary School. In all, Aron was an integral figure of respect and support and earned his well-deserved title of, Mr. Awesome.

Some of Aron's greatest joys involved enjoying experiences and collecting moments with his loved ones, travel, teaching/coaching, watching ESPN sportscenter, his beloved Raiders football and Lakers basketball teams, action movies and any movies starring his favorite actor, Tom Cruise.

Aron is survived by Shannon M. Bracamonte, his wife of 22 years and their two sons: Ezra Jordan and Alakai Jaron Bracamonte. His parents-Antonio and Margarita Gonzales, sister-Elizabeth Rodriguez (Ramiro) and their children-Kayla Jackson (Shawn J.), Reba, Andrew and Ryan Rodriguez; brother-Daniel Bracamonte (Aimee B.) and their children Ella and Noah Bracamonte; brother Rick Carreon (Michele C.); Father-in-law James E. Kincaid (Denise) and mother-in law, Irma Salcido; Aron's beloved sister-in-law/friend, Lauren G. Kincaid and her children-Maddox and Hunter Campolla. In addition, numerous extended friends/family, cousins, lifelong friends, colleagues, students and athletes

We will forever adore and remember you-we will stand taller and stronger, knowing you are now watching over us-always believing.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Not sure what to say?

The last pic we took together. I love you so much! Missing you fiercely. I you Manito always and forever. Words will never be enough.

Missing you so much. So much has happened this year that I know you´d be proud of. I miss you everyday. Every time I needed you, you were there. I miss your laugh when you were always trying to get me to smile . I hope you can look down and smile as I look up and think of you and smile back at you. Your Kaylita

I have no words to express all that is in my heart. I love you, I miss you, I need to hear your voice and know your thoughts. What would you be telling me right now? What would you be telling all of us left here to carry on with life? Now that you are on the other side and can look back and have seen the briefness of life may we learn and honor you by making each day count. You will forever live on in my heart manito.

Thinking of you always ... wish you were here to talk about all the plans and thoughts I have in my head. and you try and make sense of it with me. ... I bought a star just for you... so when times like these come up and I just need you to talk to you , I can look up, see you and talk to you and know you are there listening... Love you Tio

The Morales family misses you every day, Coach. "Coach Aron" was a way of life for us for a year and a half and we're processing not having you with us. You treated Gianna like a daughter and she (all of us, actually) looked up to you greatly. You brought out the best (and the worst...in a good way) of her and we will try to keep everything going that we have built.

Rest in Piece, Coach. We love you.

Thank you brother for always being there for my daughter Ava Grace Norvell! You always treated us like family and will always be remembered of being one of the best coaches in Southern New Mexico !! RIP brother!

My Manito, no words can express my love for you. You had such a tender heart that felt more than anyone will ever know.

I know you loved Shannon, and that she and your boys Ezra and Alakai were your world. I know you always strived to be a better husband and father and wanted so much for your family. You would tell me so.

We love them and will be here for them with love and open hearts.

I hope to see you again soon one day soon. I will be looking for you...

Shannon and family,
