Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Arpy Saunder's passing. I had the good fortune to get to know him while attending the Franklin Pierce Law Center. During my career as a lawyer, his tutelage has been has been a source of courtroom inspiration and courage for me. If settlement negotiations broke down, he would shrug and say "What goes around, comes around."

What a difference one teacher can make. Arpy gave me the self confidence I needed to succeed. When I was hospitalized with back surgery in 1980-he was the one who called and cheered me up. I will never forget Constitutional Law and Juvenile law courses taught by Arpy. He truly made a difference in my life. (class of 1981)

New Hampshire's legal community aspires to sterling standards of advocacy and collegiality. The same can be said, as a law school, for Franklin Pierce Law Center. There were a number of times that Arpiar really...

Arpiar was a great classmate and friend to all. We had good times at WHS and he was a wonderful President in his senior year. We are so sad that he has left us but have many great memories. RIP Arpy. You were a friend to all who met you.

Arpy was a fantastic advocate for people suffering from a mental illness. You couldn't ask for a better champion. Few people appreciate how his efforts changed the care that people receive. What a special person; he will be missed.
