Not sure what to say?

Art and I dida lost of trading...sure miss that fella...and doggone it ! He ended up with my favorite Colt 1911 and my favorite knife...RIP Art...area really missed by all of us horse traders..

Art came and looked at my collection and wanted to bye it but he just didn't offer enough money then. It was 2007 or 2008 when I lived in Owensboro ky. He was a good man.

A great man who planted trees under which some he would never stand. Great loss to Archaeology, friends, family and MANY people he never met in person.

My condolences to the family. I didn't know Art had passed until today when I spoke to Charlie Wagers about Indian Relics. I had visited with Art just a few months ago about a few of his relics I had wanted to purchase. He seamed in good spirits then. The collecting community has lost a valued friend.

A great loss to the collecting community.

So sorry to all family and friends for the loss of this Great man. He lives on as a Legend in the hearts and minds of many!

Art was a friendly face at the artifacts show and helpful in many ways. Will be missed by many,
Bill and Linda

thank you for all the help over the years will see you on the other side

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Art. Lar (Hothem) admired Art and enjoyed "catching up" with him at the Collinsville shows each year. Art was indeed a unique individual and will be fondly remembered by so many. Sue (McClurg Hothem) Fischer, Scranton PA (formerly of Lancaster OH)
