Art Moore

Jo, Rob, Mike, and the extended Moore family - I was deeply saddened to hear of Art´s passing and wanted to extend my condolences. Art was one of the first people I met after joining Heartland Alliance, and his dedication and unwavering commitment to the people we served was truly inspiring. His passion left a lasting impact, and I feel privileged to have known and worked alongside him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, and I wish you strength and comfort.

Acknowledged as the best athlete in the. Moore family, (Quite a concession in that ultra competitive family) Art had that quiet assurance of the truly competent champions, a trait that was evident in all his endeavors. Well done, RIP Art, you will be missed, but not forgotten.

Art Moore was a mentor and friend. He had the rare dichotomy of ferocious competition in the pit and on the court, coupled with compassion and empathy for others. He extolled and lived community over hyper-individualism. Art taught me more than most about love, marriage and giving back. I will be forever grateful, and send my most sincere sympathies to Jo, the kids, and the Moore siblings.
