   Arta Faye Tilley, 79, of Hardy, KY, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025, at her residence. Arta was born August 17, 1946, at Ransom, KY, to the late Delmer Church and Maudie Whitt Church. Arta is also preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Edward Tilley, her first husband, Avery Rife, her siblings, Donnie Church, Carl Church, Delmer Church JR, and Tiny Church, and two grandsons, Donnie Evans and Gary Rife.  Arta was a homemaker.
    Arta is survived by her children, Sabrina (Caleb) Cochran, Tammy (Greg) Sammons, Sherry Coffey, Avery (Lisa) Rife all of Hardy, KY, and Rita (Hawk)) Tilley of Ransom, KY; her siblings, James (Linda) Church of Cave Run, KY, Vicy Sue Tilley and Ruthie (Ronnie) Sullivan both of Ransom, KY, Nita (Dean) Norman of McCarr, KY, Benny (Nicole) Church and James Michael (Candy) Church both of Louisa, KY, and Mickey (Leisha) Church of Williamson, WV.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joshua Cochran, Ashley Smith, Melissa Turner, Matthew Rife, Jason Evans, Sharon Sullivan, Kevin Tilley, Nichole Hatfield, Nathan Ratliff, Tyler Ratliff and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  She also leaves behind a host of other family and friends.
     Arta's visitation will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 6 - 9 PM in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with special services at 7 PM.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025, in the funeral home chapel beginning at 1 PM, with Lowell Sparks and Chris Casey officiating.  Burial will follow in the Tilley Cemetery, McCarr, KY, with Josh Cochran, Nathan Ratliff, Kevin Tilley, Caleb Cochran, Greg Sammons and Avery Rife serving as pallbearers.  Online condolences at www.rerogersfh.com.
