Read MoreI am a lifeguard at the Jackson YMCA and I very much enjoyed the companie of Artha in the night. Some times I kept the pool open later so that she could have her 5 minuets of pool time. She was a very strong and caring woman who always had a story to tell. I will miss her dearly.

I feel blessed to have gotten to know Artha some over the past couple years. I thoroughly enjoyed her spirit (and politics :) ). I'll miss hearing her voice almost every day asking for you to make sure you were coming home for lunch. She was a wonderful lady.
