Dr. Arthur Paul Alberding Jr.

One of the great math teachers of our time (and of my life). Math and its relation to life beyond school was a passion in his high school teaching.

Art was a real inspiration to me and my colleagues in the education community. He was always there to lend support to his students and to do whatever he could to make the world a better place.
He was also fun to be around. I remember wIth great pleasure our trips to Phi Delta Kappa conferences.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Glee and family.

I did not have the pleasure to know Mr. Alberding but have known Cindy for years. It is clear that he touched the lives of many over the years and leaves a wonderful legacy of learning and light. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We were fortunate to have such an amazing Father. Dad, we love you and will miss you.

My mother, Emily McMillin, and I are so saddened to hear about the passing of Art. He left a huge legacy here at Pima College and has left an even bigger hole in our hearts. We pray the Lord holds all of you close during this most difficult time. God bless you, Art. You will surely be missed.

Art was a great guy! A dedicated teacher, a real educator, passionate about learning and committed to making PCC a great college! He was an outstanding husband and father. Art will rest in peace after a race well run!
