Art, you will be greatly missed by me and all the guys at the model yacht pond. Your ship building abilities were always of the highest quality. In addition, you always had interesting stories to share with us.
May you have fair winds and calm seas from now on.

You learned a lot from you and enjoyed working with you on the San Diego Vintage Trolley project. I always enjoyed our World War Two "Round Table" conversations at the trolley yard and the autographed books you would bring in. I am better off for knowing you and you will be missed.

Dear Aydelotte Family,
Condolences on the loss of your father, grandfather, and great grandfather. I never met Art, but sure wish I had. As a life long San Diego resident, I've never met another Aydelotte outside of my immediate family. It's unfortunate that we never met because it appears that we shared many of the same interests. I thank Art for his service to our country and to our community.
Sincerely,
Derek Aydelotte
