Not sure what to say?

That was Art in a nutshell!

That was the way I remember Art. He was truly a GREAT man and timpanist !

I still think about Art everyday since his untimely passing. The things I remember are the trips to Washington, Williamsburg, The Cottage, and the get togethers at 114TH and Union and Aunt Florence famous sour cream pancakes! I also remember the Heartsfield concert at Eastern Illinois University when I was there. Art was always so kind and considerate of “us” younger kids and made us feel so comfortable even though he was 3 years older than I am. The last time I spoke with Art was in 2004...

Deepest sympathy Leslie and Susan and familys. He will be missed.

I´ve known Art my whole life. From the Wildcats, 8th grade graduation party, the Stepchildren, Heartsfield, Big Moose Gako and 13 roses - to playing with Eddie at my wedding reception. Wonderful memories we will always have. Will miss you, Arturo. Leslie and Sue, much love and sympathy to you and your families. Nancy Santacaterina Donohoe
