Not sure what to say?

May God give you strength, support and comfort during this difficult time? Be assured of his deep love and concern for you. 1 JOHN 4:9, 10,

Art was one of the first people I ever met at PCBC. And about the greatest teacher I ever had, too. Art didn't care what you looked or smelled like, how beautiful you were or who you were, he was happy to see you and talk to you and help you. He will be very missed. Prayers go out to his family in this time of loss for us on earth, yet Heaven's gain!

Art Barnes greatly encouraged me. I remember several occasions when I was a very young man of 14 or 15 and some of us were taking it easy, relaxing on a weekend in the Barnes home. Art was a special teammate to me while attending SMU. After meeting and working with him I knew he would become a great leader in his own way. He had that infectious smile that was always present. Art always had a smile for us with something nice to say, or a simple pat on the back to encourage us. He always made time for our kids when we had to bring them to work. He will be greatly missed! We love you Art!

We were truly blessed to know Art Barnes. He had a servant's heart and a smile that would warm up a room. He has left behind a family that continues to carry his mission of serving others. Our love to all of you.

Art always talked of Heroes, but in truth he was the real HERO .

Art was a perfect example of what God calls us to be--- he loved the Lord, his family passionately, and always had a smile. He gave of himself in all facets of his life. He will be missed!!!

Anyone who knew Art Barnes was truly blessed. He was an exceptional man with a heart and soul that always put others first. Gracious with a warm sense of humor, he could light up a room by merely being in it. He will be very much missed. God bless his family.
