Hi Yvonne. I have been thinking about you and praying for you during this difficult time in your life. As I think about Skip, I think about how he always had a positive attitude no matter what he was going through, he kept you laughing. I didn't spend a lot of time with you and Skip, but what time we did spend together there was never a dull moment. Keep the faith Yvonne, all the friends and family you have will be there for the support that you need, and when you want to talk we will be...

Yvonne,

I know you are having a hard time getting over the death of Skip, but I have always considered you a strong individual who can overcome all obtacles. You have the strength to get up when you're knocked down, to stand strong when the wind blows too hard, to make a path where there seems to be no path. You are strong Yvonne and you can make it.

You're in my prayers -- stay strong in Jesus' name. Remember He is always there to lead and comfort...

Yvonne,

"Weeping may endure for a night but, joy cometh in the morning." May God give you strength to endure during your time of bereavement. Be encouraged and rest in the joy of knowing Skip is in a much better place. Our task now is to live an exemplary life so that when our time comes, we'll join him in glory. Be blessed, stay encouraged and know that the joy of the Lord is your strength!

Words cannot express the heaviness of my heart. But I thank God for our Comforter, the Holy Spirit, during these trying times. The wonderful memories of Skip will forever be in my heart. Never forget how much Skip loved you. Write those words on your heart. You and Skip have made a large impact on many lives and examples of love to all. We love you. Call for anything. I was saddened by the news of Skipper's passing. We were team mates in high school. You could always count on Skip to bring a smile to your face with some of his jokes and antics. He was a leader during the games and when we won he lead us in a verse or two of "Everybody Loves a Winner".
I had only seen Skipper afew times over the pass 30 years but could tell that he was a fine Man.
Prayers go out to his Family.....
and Skip, until we meet again my...

Yvonne,
Words cannot express how much my family and me will miss Skip. Skip did not just appear in our lives at Church. It started back in the 80’s when my sons played football at Lakewood Recreation Park and then at Davis Hills Middle School. Even then he was a inspiring person and a wonderful coach for my sons. Joe and Jermaine extend their sincere sympathy and regret they are out of town and could not be here during your difficult time. They want you know that he touched their lives...
