Not sure what to say?

My name is Fred Carter. I served on the Project Pooch board with Stan. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to Dixie and family. I know the Lord will give you peace.

In such a short time, Stan taught me so many lessons. His quiet, thoughtful presence, his endless wit, wisdom and deep sense of humanity. I could write for pages. His physical being on this planet is deeply missed, but the hearts of all who knew him are forever blessed with a touch of his magic. Thank you Stan for bringing so much to our world. To his beloved family, my deepest sympathies for your loss. He loved you so very much. Peace and love to you.

Dixie, I'm so sorry to hear about Stan. He was such a great friend of Lang's. And super nice to me. I know this is a hard time for you but want you to know that I am thinking about you. Stan and Lang will be pals again. Maryann

Stan was a patient in my dental practice. I was lucky enough to...

Dixie, we are so sad to hear of Stan´s passing. He was one of those guys you just couldn´t help being friends with. He will be missed by so many. We are thinking of you and the boys during this very hard time.

Stan lived a life of love, grace, kindness and compassion. He was a gift to all who knew him. And we were better because of him. He will be always loved, and always remembered. And I will forever miss my friend...

Stan was an amazing board member with a big heart for the youths and dogs in Project POOCH when I ran the program. He had a natural ability to engage with the youths and showed a genuine interest in how best to support them in his many actions. As a result of visiting the program, he brought in a massive box of dog toys during the Christmas holiday. Seeing the youths go through the box and pick out toys for their dogs brought much happinesses to Stan and others at the event. He has left a...

I had the opportunity to visit Stan and Dix after not seeing him for decades. I was delighted to see that his unique personality had not faded. He thoughtfully attacked life with great humor and was so devoted to his friends and family. The Great Rhino will be missed.
