VERSAILLES -- Arthur "Rod" Boring age 89, of Versailles passed away at 3:01 pm Monday, March 11, 2024, at his residence.
Rod was born October 28, 1934, to the late Mary (Roof) Knotts and George Boring. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Boring.
Rod is survived by his wife, Julie Boring; and children, David Boring, Cheryl Erbes and Andy Boring.
Rod served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War from 1953-1957. He graduated from Wright State University and was founder of Boring & Associates. Rod loved life and loved enjoying it with family and friends. His "I can do anything attitude" will be treasured along with some of his jokes.
In honor of his wish, there will be no service. His memory will be memorialized with a statue as founder of Arthur R. Boring Accounting Service, now Boring, Richard & Associates LLC. Memorial contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice 1350 North Broadway Greenville, OH 45331. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
