Lt. Col. Arthur L. Boyd

Jim & Mike: I think both of you know that I have always held your dad in the highest regard. The military gruffness of his voice was tempered by a quick wit and sense of humor that seems to be a Boyd family trademark. I'm sorry that in my moves about the country, I lost contact with him. Your dad was a good man.

I pray that God's peace will comfort the entire Boyd family and especially your mom, whose loss is greatest.

Jim: Although I did not know your Father, he and I were connected by virtue of the fact he served in the Military to protect the freedom I enjoy in America. So today in my heart I honor and salute him for his bravery.
