Arthur Charles "Art" Brooks Jr.

Was saddened to hear Art passed; the news came through a Pine Ridge member on a river cruise in Normandy, France. Art was full of small world stories; here´s another one. He was a great rep. Always enjoyed being with him. May he Rest in Peace.

I was saddened to read this notice....I grew up across the field from the the Brooks family in Beachwood. Janie was my childhood best friend & her sisters were the `tag-alongs´. Brothers Artie & Billy were playmates as well. Their Mother was a true gem with a wonderful laugh that my Mother always loved to hear. They played golf together at Pine Ridge. C players I believe. The Brooks family legacy in my memories and my heart.

I just discovered today that Art passed away. I'm really sad to see that. Art was a wonderful guy. He taught me many things and I considered him a mentor and a friend.

I´ll miss the smile the laugh and our fitful rounds of strident golf. He was a friend to all. I loved the guy. Barbara´s and my condolences to Jayne and family.

I got to know Art through our mutual association with Copes-Vulcan. Art was a very good person, and I want to send my condolences to his family. He was a really great guy. Chuck Dundon
