BRUZEWSKI, Arthur S. - Of Flushing, age 82, went to be with the Lord, Ash Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Fostrian Manor in Flushing with his family at his side. A memorial service will be held in May 2006 to celebrate his wonderful life and will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Robert's Catholic Church Building Fund or St. Robert's Pantry in Flushing. Art lived his life to the fullest becoming an Army Pilot during World War II. He worked as a supervisor for Buick Motor Division for 37 years, retiring in 1977. Arthur loved fishing, hunting, gardening with his roses and above all spending time with his family at their cottage in AuGres. Surviving are his beloved wife of 33 years, Georgette; son, James and wife Karen Gray; daughter, Janet Gray and fiancée Bill Woods; granddaughter, Pamela Georgette and husband Rafael; grandsons, Scott and Matthew Gray; great-grandson, Bryan; nieces, Gail, Denise and Connie; nephews, Larry, Lonnie and Jim; and his beloved friend, Pete Johnson of Flushing. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Theresa and Elaine and 2 brother-in-laws.
