Not sure what to say?

Dad, you are truly missed. I'll always love you.

Sorry to hear of a dear friend of mine, passing away, I just heard about it this morning, from Mr. Purdie another friend of Mr. Butler, in fact, I was just thinking about Mr Butler a day or so ago and was about to ask Mr. Purdie for his number, so that we could talk smack to each other, as we usually did, all in fun

Arthur Butler was my mentor and a good friend for many years during our time in the United States Army and civilian life after our service to our country. He will be missed and never forgotten. Rest in heaven my brother for eternity. SFC/Retired W. L. Purdie, Jr.

Prayers of strength for Denise and family. We will miss having Art bring “special deliveries” to our front door. The neighborhood won’t be the same without his friendly greetings and chit chat when we’d see him outside. A very special man.

Our condolences to the family of our dear friend Arthur Butler (Art). We will surely miss him. May God comfort each and every one of you during this difficult time. Skint & Red

I'm going to miss talking trash to you about your 49ers every year during football season. That's what made football season fun. You're really going to be missed cuz. Thanks for being a good example of a man, soldier and person. R.I.P.

I am so sorry for your loss, I never forgot how Arthur and his wife helped my children when I could be there for them, they where the best foster parents any child could have, thank you .my prayers are with his family. R.I.P.
