Not sure what to say?

I just want everyone to know that Bill delivered all five of my children. At that time I was a medical student and Bill took care of everything in the way of costs. I placed him at the top of my list for people I wanted to be like. Every chance I had in the hospital I would grab him and say Hi. We became friends. At the time of his retirement he tried to sell his home to me for a fraction of what it was worth. I could not believe how generous and considerate he was toward a young doctor...

I really miss Bill (my ob gyn) and Penny (his wife) --- close friends for hiking and travel and Basque dinners.Think of him (and her) often. Helaine Greenberg

I will always remember Dr. Carlson. He saw my husband Dennis and I through 6 years before we could have a child. He gave us the incredible news that I was pregnant. He hugged as both as he shared the joyful news. He delivered my first son, Michael, on 7/27/78. I had a very long delivery and we would check in on me every couple of hours. Late in the afternoon, he just stayed with us. He would sit outside with my husband or talk to my parents or sit with me. I have never met a more...

My sister and I were among some of his first patients in Sparks,Nv. He was a wonderful person and a wonderful caring Doctor. We never forgot him. We were sad when he retired. What a great man. This special man called my sisters house twice a day when I was in a coma to check on me. That is a great and caring man and Doctor. I can't say enough about this man. All his patients loved him and new him also as a friend.

My condolences to the family.I did not know Dr. Carlson, but according to the tributes I have read, he must have been a wonderful Dr. and person.
May the God of all comfort supply you the strength needed now and in the days ahead. ~Isaiah 12:2

Will always cherish the wonderful memories of the fun times our families shared over the years.

The first time I met Dr. Carlson he had just moved to Reno and was he was staying with a patient at the hospital whose husband was in the military. He was so kind to this frightened young woman, who had no family in the area. It was then I decided that if I ever had children he would be my doctor. He delivered all three of mine. I will always have kind thoughts of this gentle soul.

Dr. Carlson was everyone's favorite OB-GYN. He treated 4 generations of my family: my grandmother, my mother, myself , and my daughter, who he had delivered. Once my mother was in the hospital and the other doctors didn't know what was wrong with her. Dr.Carlson came in and immediately made the correct diagnosis. It was not gynecologically related. He helped me through years of infertility and got me to term with a difficult pregnancy, when I started labor at 24 weeks.

Dear Carlson family, Dr. Carlson was my doctor for 20 years and I did cry when he retired. He was an amazing physician and friend. I'm a nurse like many of his patients and would see him and Penny at Renown. He always remember you and you family's names and would give you a wonderful hug and best wishes. We truly lost a great man, but he will make a perfect angel. Kathy Stahlke
