Not sure what to say?

All my thoughts and prayers to Mrs. Art and the rest of the family. I was honored to call Art a friend and a mentor. Thanks Art...will miss you.

The previous message written by Gil Buettner

As so many know, Art had a way of bringing a smile whenever you would see him. He was a wonderful mentor for so many of the younger people who came to the station, as well as an inspiration to those of us closer to his age.

Art was a joy to work with. He always had a positive attitude, would smile in the most stressful of circumstances, and had an endless supply of funny stories that would remind you that life is really pretty amusing, if you'll let it be. Thanks for your example, Art. Thoughts and prayers are with your family.

WWMT Videographers - Early 90s

I was blessed to be able to call Art my friend, and he welcomed me into his home as if I were one of his kids. That's him kneeling behind the camera. I was a better videographer because I worked with him, and a better person because I knew him. Now Heaven is a better place because he's there.
RIP, Art. You will be missed. Eternal rest grant unto him o Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. Grant his, and all the departed souls, into the light of Your Kingdom.

Your family will be in my prayers

Art was a special person and taught so many not only to be good photographers and reporters, but set an example on how to be a good person. Thank you for sharing your husband and father with so many, for so many years. He made the world a better place.

I received an email today with the subject Art Charlton. Immediately I knew in my Spirit that I did not want to open it. The message confirmed my thoughts. Immediately "Oh no" came out of my mouth. People who have meant a lot to you elicit a verbal response when hearing of their passing.

Art was such a blessing to me as a new Videographer, always encouraging and ready to lend his experience to others. He knew my dad for many years before me and I was blessed to work with and get...

I just learned of Artie's passing and am shocked and saddened! He was truly a great friend and professional. He never had an excuse when it came time to answering the call for assistance. He and Niff were instrumental in my becoming a somewhat accomplished photographer. He always had a smile and made us all believe we were important. I looked forward to seeing him on our visits to Kazoo. We will never forget him and his wonderful family. God bless!
