My grandpa was like my father when I didn't have one. We played checkers every night before dinner then we would go in the basement where he built model planes and he would show me how to make small models and let me use the wood cutter :) he also took me skating every week, he was always my number 1 fan cheering me on from the stands. Art Christensen was my grandpa, and like a father to me.. He taught me how to swim in Lake Geneva, and spent time taking me to all my swim meets. I remember one year it was the super bowl and he and I were the only ones in the pool. He always shared great stories, and loved the outdoors. I miss you so much grandpa! I will always remember the memories that we shared.
