Not sure what to say?

Watching you operate your tractor while plowing a field, "helping" you do some work in the barn, sledding down the front yard hillside with a sled you had "found", eating Thanksgiving dinner, sleeping in a warm and cozy room upstairs, listening to Craig practice his violin. I was 9 years old at the time, but these small memories and the kindness towards me over the years is what I will remember about you Uncle Art. I am proud to be one of your nephews. DeeDee - ( Sam Jr.)

Uncle Art,

You were an inspiration to me in more ways than you could ever know. My time working with you on the farm helped me to form the work ethic I lived my life by. Our chats about flying and aviation in general will forever be ingrained in my memories. Thank you for all you did for the family and myself. Thank for your service to our country.

Love you Uncle Art.

Blue skies!

Uncle Art, I will forever remember following you to the barn when you feed the cows. The circle remains unbroken from this realm to the next. Thank you for your service. Forever in our hearts. Lori, Thomas, Josh & Morgan

What a nice gentleman!! Such a gentle kind fella and an American hero! Loved and cherished by his friends at VFW and his friends all over the island. He will be sorely missed! Godspeed on Eagle's Wings!

My condolences are with you during this difficult time. May the memories of Arthur and the love of family and friends surround you and give you the strength to endure. Louise

What a history! I regret not knowing him to hear first hand his adventures and hope some of his family has written them down. If Al and I were in town that week end, we as total strangers, would attend the VFW to commemorate his life. I would also like to voice my personal appreciation of the choice of The Wounded Warriors project donation request, an incredibly meaningful agenda. Thank You.
