My first job was working at Link in the Lunar Module simulator's Guidance and Navigation group. It was a short but memorable stint. He led the push for the adoption of my idea for standardizing the generation of programming symbols against considerable opposition, because it was right for the project. My condolences to Arts family. I knew Art from Singer Link and Tennis. Art and I must have played against each other and together at least 300 times. I have fond memories of sailing with him, and playing tennis in Long Beach Island NJ with him. He was a good friend and I am sorry that he has passed away.
