My sincere sympathy to the family of Art Daniels from the family of Bill Adkins. Bill had many memories working on the City of Christfield with Art. Art welcomed Bill and our boys to sail with him in the Skipjack Races. When we were in Maryland, Bill would make sure he visited Art so they could talk about the good times they had working on the boat. Art was a special person.

I'm glad I got to know Capt. Art a while and that he came to Smith Island church service. Blessings and wonderful memories on his family and friends.

The Adams family send our love, prayers and sympathy to the Daniels family during this loss. A memory I would like to share: In summer of 2015, when daddy had just been put in Alice B. Tawes,Art came to visit him. They talked for awhile & then Art wanted daddy to sing with him....daddy was reluctant, but Art insisted....they sang the first verse & chorus of "The Old Fashioned Songs", a song they sang together for many years.
