Art was the consummate southern gentleman, as his obituary indicated. We were members of the same church in Lake Oswego, OR. Art loved the beautiful music, well known at that church, as did Franny. As a singer there, Art always lavished praise and appreciation whenever I saw him. I have some of Art's cards he painted; they are beautiful.
