Arthur Digby had as profound impact on my life when I was trying to decide what to do with myself while in college. His temperament and advice in those times will always be appreciated. He will be missed.

My condolences to the Digby family. Art was my minister when I attended First Christian Church in Arlington and my parents, Ben and Virginia Spruance, held him is very high regard. I now live in Washington state, but have not forgotten my ties to First Christian Church nor what a kind man Art was.

Many years ago, when I was a rebellious teenager running with Steve, doing a lot of things unsupervised teenagers will do, Rev. Digby often would offer advice and listen to the issues that I was facing. I didn't listen then, but the words did sink in and help me lead a productive life. I offer my condolences to the family.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Dr. Digby was my childhood pastor growing up at FCC Arlington. He married my parents, and subsequently participated in my deication as a newborn. I always loved and respected Dr. Digby. My grandparents, Walt & Glenda Manly, were always talky highly of him, and rightfully so. He was always pleasant and willing to lend an ear whenever the time arised. I will miss you Dr. Digby. You will forever have a place in my heart and thoughts.

Dr. Digby was my pastor in Arlington and I was so privileged to know him and Joy. He never forgot his "flock"...he even contacted a colleague when my daughter was in school out-of-state, asking that he remember her as she visited his church while there. He was a good man,a dedicated pastor and a blessing to those who knew him.
