ARTHUR P. "ART" DORE

I fought in a number of Toughman Boxing Competitions and Won the Toughman Heavyweight Championship at the Sports Arena on April 11,1981 in Jackson, MI. Art Dore was a fine person and I am forever Thankful in his Sporting Events of Pugilism!

i workrd for mr d for a long time at the lumerbareaen on mildland st mr d always called me big bird he never told me why we pick on each other all the time one time mrd wouldnot leave me along so i moved his truck he looked 4 a time mr d found out i moved it wow he lafed at me cant say what he told me mr d got me back he lafed so hared it was to funny mr d was like a father to me

A great humble man who loved Bay City. He and my dad would go watch Golden Gloves fights together. I am so honored to have known him. Nothing was unachievable to Art. He treated everyone as equals and gave everyone a chance to succeed, if they so chose. I am honored to be friends with him and his children. They are all individuals in their own right. All, with a little bit or a lot of Art, in their DNA. RIP my friend.
