Not sure what to say?

I first met Mike in September 1953 as we started high school. We were in many of the same classes, sang together in the Glee Club, in school plays, and in a "homemade" quartet. Even then it was clear that Mike was going places and he sure did. Wherever it is that you landed, Mike, please save me a seat next to you.

Mike will always be remembered by me we grew up in the same neighborhood, went to the same schools, St. Joseph, Seattle Prep, and Seattle U. We sang together in the St. Joes choir. He had a beautiful voice that still rings in my memory. We were very close friends, He may have gone to heaven, but He will always be with me.
Frank Buono, Capitol Hill neighborhood Seattle

Mike was a wonderful companion and leader. We grew up together at St. Joseph's in Seattle -- played soccer together, sang in the choir together. He was the best and he got to Heaven first! Keep his love alive! We offered Mass for him and all his family.

Dear Carol,
Richard and I were sadden to hear of Mike’s passing. We always enjoyed the times we were together with you and will miss those trips. May God’s loving arms surround you and comfort you during this difficult time Richard and Paulette Bremer

Carol, Lucas, and Evan, I was so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Years ago, I would see Mike at the YMCA pool om Eastview. Often we would have a private pool, just Mike and his kids and me with mine. He always took such great care of his boys. Keep the good memories in your hearts. Judy

Shirley and I were sadden to hear of Mike's passing. It brings to mind the early days of St. John's on Shelton Road when we were a small community and everyone knew everyone else, the hog roasts and the special events and services. Mike was such a special part of those times. Carol, Lucas and Evan - you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Thoughts and prayers go out to Carol and family. For His Sake

Carol, Evan & Lucas,

Paula and I moved to Madison in the Fall of 1985. I'm not sure exactly under what circumstances I first meet Mike but he invited me and our oldest son Russell to an Optimist Club (Friend-of-Youth) organizational meeting in that time frame and I became a Charter Member. But the significant encounter with Mike was somewhere related to the soccer field. Russell was just starting soccer in Virginia and I was desperate to find something of interest for him...

A kind and gentle man. We will miss you Mike. Rest in Peace
