Not sure what to say?

I am so saddened to hear of Dr. Fishkins passing. He was a great professor, mentor, but more importantly a great friend to me and always was there for me during my years in school and residency at CUMC. He truly loved his students and was and always will be a champion in my life. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He will be missed but never forgotten!!

Dear Fishkins,

It has been quite a few years since I've seen my cousin Arthur and I am so sad to hear of his passing. He was the great historian of the Schneiderman family history and we spoke many times of his love for his Grandparents and their home on Bay 17th street in Brooklyn. Both of us remembered our grandmother's phone number in Bay Ridge: I pass it on to you: Beachview 2-0738. I share your loss and my husband Clint and I send your family our sincere and deep sypathies-...

Dear Fishkin Family,

We are sadden to learn of the passing of Dr. Fiskin, a very dear friend of our family. Art was an esteemed colleague of my dad at Creighton's Biochemistry Department, a story teller extraordinaire, with the biggest of hearts. I'll never forget how he was there for us as my dad succumbed also to the scourge of cancer. We are blessed that he was part of our lives.

With much love,

Tom & Pam Fried (San Diego), Lygia (Los Angeles) and...

Jane, I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. I will never forget the kindness you and Dr. Fishkin showed me when my brother, Juan Guzman, died suddenly. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dr. Paul,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time

Michael, Beverly and Benjamin

Dear Fishkins,

We're saddened by Art's passing and send our most heartfelt condolences. He was a big part of our life in Omaha - there was hardly a family gathering that didn't include the Fishkins. We'll miss "Doc" and send our love to the entire family.

Joni Crounse, Rich and Noah Moline

Art was the life of the party, a truly great guy, and a blessing to have known. My heart goes out to his family.

Art sharing a wonderful message at our summer picnic.

Denny and I are deeply saddened with the news of Art's passing. He was an extraordinary man and very special friend to us in the Omaha chapter of the National Stuttering Association. Art had a deep respect and gift for communicating with children and adults who stutter. His presence and his smile will certainly be missed at our winter and summer gatherings.

I'll echo what Jim said. Very sad to learn that Art passed away. He was a wonderful man and very much a part of our lives. With much love, Bill, Karen, and Sara Crounse
