Arthur Flebeau Obituary



Mr. Arthur Joseph Flebeau, 83, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 20, 2017 surrounded by his family at Hartford Hospital. He was the husband of Louise (Baiocchetti) Flebeau. Arthur, a lifelong resident of East Hartford, was born on July 18, 1933 and was the son of the late Raymond and Josephine (Frey) Flebeau. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After returning home, Arthur became a machinist, working for Pratt and Whitney for 35 years until his retirement in 1992. Arthur was devoted to his faith and had served as an Usher at Saint Rose Church for many years. Popi, as he was known to friends and family, enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with his family. Besides his loving wife of 56 years, Mr. Flebeau is survived by his son, Paul Flebeau and his wife Loreene of East Hartford, his grandson, Cody Alexander Flebeau of East Hartford and a sister, Doris Schmidt and her husband Junia of Hesston, Kansas. He was predeceased by his brother, Raymond "Pete" Flebeau. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
