Arthur G. Frable, 88, of Northampton, PA, passed away Saturday, August 9th, at Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice, Allentown, PA. Born: Arthur was born in Petersville, PA on June 19, 1926, a son of the late Hubert A. and Eva F. (Moser) Frable. Personal: He was the husband of Arlene Betty (Moyer) Frable, they celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary last November. Arthur was employed at Keystone Portland Cement Plant in Bath, PA, for 40 years, until retiring in 1987. Arthur was also employed as a security guard at Muhlenberg Hospital for 17 years. Arthur enjoyed wood working and was an avid hunter. He served in the US Army in the 7th Engineer Combat Battalion during WW II. Memberships: He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Kreidersville, PA. Arthur was a life member of the Keystone Rod and Gun Club in Bath, PA and a member of the American Legion Post 0945. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Arlene Betty Frable, Arthur is survived by a son,Barry Frable and his wife Charlene, of Lehighton, PA; two daughters, Susan Borger and her husband Eric, of Northampton, PA and Debra Citrullo and her husband Robert, of Chattanooga, TN, 6 grandchildren Nora, Allyson, Sarah, Aaron, Megan and Geoffrey, and 4 great grandchildren Olivia, Connolly, Bren, and Brigid. Arthur was preceded in death by a son Michael Frable, a granddaughter Michaela Borger, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Services: Funeral Services will be held at the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., www.gaffneyparsons.com, 4 Lillian Lane, "Village of Johnsonville", Bangor, PA, at 11 AM on Friday, August 15th. Friends are invited to call Friday 10 - 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be held at North Bangor Cemetery, North Bangor, PA. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 S 12th St., # 101, Allentown,, PA 18103.
