Not sure what to say?

Margaret(Maggie) Janet MaryKay and I all grew up together on Newbury/Woodmont Streets in the 1960´s. Our mothers were very best friends and we didn´t know it then but lived an idyllic life.... Church...picnics... school activities etc. Margaret met and married Art. This incredibly handsome and wonderful man that everyone was fond of. They were devoted to one another. Every conversation I ever had with Janet my age and best friend included Margaret and Art. I just learned of Art going ahead...

Condolences for the loss of Art. Such a pleasant person. Linda Prystupa

One of the most impactful teachers I ever had. Back in the mid 70s, Mr. Gage (Artie, as we called him amongst ourselves) made learning physics, and science in general, such a joy that a bunch of us attended workshop-like classes during the summers! His passion for teaching and enthusiasm for how physics applied to engineering and science was infectious. He was always remembered with a smile and now a tear at his passing. My thoughts are with his family and friends. Dave (and Betsy) Griffin

We are all saddened over Arthur's passing. He was a great neighbor and teacher. He was a positive influence on everyone's life and he will be missed.

Art was one in a million and so many laughs. All kindness. Taught both his kids and they were my favorites! May all those who love Art know mercy and grace. Con amor, Mary Jean Daly

To the Gage family, I am so had to hear about Mr. Gage. He was my physics teacher when I graduated in 1978. He taught a challenging class , made it very interesting , and was always patient and encouraging! Perfect teacher! We were also neighbors for the past 28 years. A wonderful family! I am thinking of his family in this tough time. Sue Wills ( and family)

So very sorry to hear this. He´s with his Ping Pong partner in heaven. 143!!! Love to family.

Mr. Gage´s devotion to teaching and caring was palpable. Just being in his presence was inspiring and motivating. I was so lucky to learn physics from him as a junior at AHS during 1983-84. It saddens me to learn of his passing. He was truly unforgettable. My sincerest condolences to Mrs. Gage and his daughter, Lindy.

It was a pleasure to be apart of Arthur´s journey the last few weeks of his life. Although I only knew him a short time, it was obvious he had positively impacted so many lives. The love he had for his family, students and friends was abundant. He was a man who knew what the important things were in life. He will be very missed!
