Not sure what to say?

To this day, I cherish the many paintings hung throughout my home-all done by the great Art Glazier. With our dear friends, the Lamberts of West Virginia, we were introduced to him & his wife Julia, who served us the best spaghetti casserole while we were there; & I was even graced by his presence at our home in Pebble Beach, CA. He remains in our hearts & in our lives, as his paintings & special Civil War chest remain in our home. Denise Ingles in Fresno, CA

My wife and are saddened to learn of Mr. Glazier's passing. We were blessed to spend 3 hours of our honeymoon visiting with him and his lovely wife in October of 1987. We own several of his works, but our favorite is his depiction of my family on a wormy chestnut board which was once part of my father's barn in NC. He and Julie graciously shared tea in their kitchen, and took us on a tour of his home, his "hired man's" room and his studio. These memories and his art are treasured greatly....

Arthur Glazier was a dear friend of my mother and father and extended that friendship to myself. The door was always open, the conversation fun and Julia would have something on the kitchen table. I am saddened that his chair will be empty.

I just learned of the passing of Mr. Glazier. We are proud to own half-a dozen of his paintings, and they are among our most treasured possessions. He was a wonderful artist. Thinking of Julia as we remember her very talented husband.

I just learned of the death of Mr. Glazier. Almost 25 years ago I curated an exhibition on Black Memorabilia at the Alexandria Black History Museum in Virginia. Several of Mr. Glazier's works were in the exhibition. I had the pleasure of meeting the Glaziers at that time. As I write this comment I am looking upon the artwork that I commissioned from Mr. Glazier that is in my personal collection. It is titled "On the Point-Buddies-May 30, 1897." It is my favorite work of art. My condolences...

As a dear friend we will surely miss Arthur. A kind and gentle soul to us, he told so many wonderful stories over coffee. From work in the Army Core, ducks, squirrels even the turkeys that stood on the railing as we sat on the porch. Arthur's paintings always show the warmth he felt for nature. Julia was the best care giver ever with Debbie and Artie right by her side they were able to comfort Arthur at home.
Arthur certainly loved his Judy as he called Julia at times as he did keep...

Arthur was our neighbor and friend for many years, he will be sadly missed by us. We enjoyed many visits with him and Julia on their sun porch listening to the stories of their life together. Our condolences to Julia and her family.

My deepest sympathy to the Arthur Gazier family on the death of Arthur. What a gifted artist and wonderful and kind man. It was my pleasure to be their escort to Canada on a Lincoln Tour and our friendship has endured for more than 20 years.
Deepest Sympathy,
